Skandal Najib/Ziana Zain Diungkit Semula

Rupa-rupanya Mahathir @ MahaShit sudah pegang Najib "by the balls"(maafkan penggunaan Bahasa tapi saya rasa ianya sesuai sekali).

Cops wanted minister's name, sex trial told Police wanted to know the identity of Cabinet member who was alleged to have a relationship with a popular Malaysian artiste, says accused.

KUALA LUMPUR -- A former financial consultant, charged with running a high-class prostitution ring, told a Sessions Court that police had asked him about a senior Cabinet minister who was alleged to have a relationship with a popular Malaysian artiste.

Mohamed Amin Jamadi said that he was questioned by the city's anti-vice and gambling chief, Supt Takbir Ahmad Nazir Mohamed, about a prostitution ring involving popular Malaysian artistes when he was detained for four days.

"Takbir asked if I was involved with artistes like Sofia Jane, Ziana Zain, Lydiawati and Julie Dahlan," Berita Harian Malaysia quoted him as saying on Thursday.

He said he was also asked about the names of ministers involved, and whether he was involved in the relationship between Ziana Zain and a senior Cabinet minister.

He also said he managed an entertainment firm in 1995 which handled performances by Erra Fariza, Ziana Zain, Shereen and the group, Shades.

Mohamad Amin, 31, is jointly charged with film production-house manager Haslinda Merican, 34, of acting as intermediaries to four models and actresses in a prostitution ring.

They are alleged to have committed the offence at the Ming Court Hotel lobby here between 8 pm and 10.30 pm on June 27, 1995.

The charge under Section 16 (1) of the Women and Young Girls Protection Act 1973 carries a maximum sentence of five years' jail or a fine of RM10,000 (S$4,420) or both upon conviction.

Questioned by his lawyer, Mr Radzuan Ibrahim, Mohamed Amin said a guest-relations officer (GRO) had arranged social-escort services for VIPs.

The GRO, whose identity was withheld on the court's order, had testified in the case earlier as a prosecution witness.

"I contacted the woman as she had told me that she had arranged social-escort services before at parties hosted by VIPs," he said. Mohamed Amin said he  contacted the GRO as he believed she could meet the request of a businessman, Mr Muhammad Khalidi.

In earlier testimony, he said he was asked by Mr Khalidi to find four beautiful artistes and models for a party he wished to hold to celebrate his success in securing a project in Penang.

The hearing before Judge Zura Yahya continues.
